| Since the budget can't do as you wish, how about making a single category: Utilities: Gas/Electric/Water And reassign all transacation previously assigned to the individual break-outs to this one category (and then delete the 3 original categories). -Mark <Flyin'8[at]here.com> wrote in message news:20051031130104.442$4M[at]newsreader.com... - quote - > Anyone???? > Mike 'Flyin'8' <yeah.right[at]guess.again> wrote: > > I have set up my budget and I am having a problem with something. > > Maybe someone can help me out... > > > I have my Utilities broken into categories, for example: > > > Utilities : Gas > > Utilities : Electric > > Utilities : Water > > > In my budget/spending tracker I have set an amount of $400 to be > > spread across all 3 of these, but it constantly shows I have spent $0. > > I know this is not accurate because I can see the amount I have spent > > for all 3. > > > In the spending tracker category selection it shows Utilities : [All > > other] and no group for all incluseive spending for Utilities. | I have set up my budget and I am having a problem with something. Maybe someone can help me out... I have my Utilities broken into categories, for example: Utilities : Gas Utilities : Electric Utilities : Water In my budget/spending tracker I have set an amount of $400 to be spread across all 3 of these, but it constantly shows I have spent $0. I know this is not accurate because I can see the amount I have spent for all 3. In the spending tracker category selection it shows Utilities : [All other] and no group for all incluseive spending for Utilities. When I try to add Utilities : [All] it tells me I cant use the special characters... What the heck?!?! In another category I have setup called Misc : [All] it appears to be working fine. What do I need to do to make utilities show the 3 sub-categories in the spending tracker? Mike Alexander PP-ASEL Temecula, CA See my online aerial photo album at http://flying.4alexanders.com |
