Start over with credit card account setup in M06, but when prompted for
a bank, click on the link at the bottom for "my bank...isn't listed".

This will allow you to setup the account without it being associated
with Schwab or MBNA. I assume you already have Schwab setup for direct
download since Schwab supports this in Money. MBNA only supports this
through third party aggregation which is causing your problem.

By the way, keep in mind that MBNA has been bought by Bank of America
(BOA). The impact of this will not be apparent for several months.
While MBNA by itself did not compete with Schwab, BOA has a brokerage
unit that will. Therefore, it remains to be seen how long Schwab will
support these credit card accounts. They may end up changing to a new
provider (eg. Captital One?). Whatever happens it may impact how Money
users setup these credit cards. Therefore, keeping it unassociated
with a bank for the time being is probably the best approach anyway.
