| Something def. funky is going on, as I've been experiecing a similar problem for the last few days.. at the end of the day the "Today's Total Change" is showing up find for my stocks and index funds, but the total change for all mutual funds are not coming in. I'm not sure exactly when this started, maybe last week. Typically I see the totals come in after the market close, like at 5pm or so, and they're all usually in by 7 or 8pm (ET). It's almost 9 now, and still no totals. -Dan Wally wrote: - quote - > Mutual fund share prices are calculated some time after the market closes for > the day. | Mutual fund share prices are calculated some time after the market closes for the day. Therefore the price you see on October 21 is actually the closing price from the previous day. Older versions of Money simply downloaded the price and associated the current day with it. Now it correctly downloads the price and the correct date. Even though it indicates that updates have been taking place, they are actually not. |

| Today, Oct 21, when I try to get new prices for our portfolio, the prices for the mutual funds (American Funds and Vanguard Funds) ARE updated to today's price, BUT the date is shown as Oct 20. And these prices from 10/21 over-write the correct prices from 10/20. That means I can no longer go back, say next week, and show the portfolio status as of 10/20. The same thing is happening with my portfolio (a different one) that's on MSN. This happened at least once before, also on a Friday, and it wasn't until Saturday AM that the prices and dates got into synch. Has anyone else noticed this? What can be done about it? The last time, on Sat AM, when I saw on MSN that things had been corrected, I restored Thursday's backup and updated the quotes again. Then I had both the quotes from Thu and Fri. |
