Default Re: Help with archiving

I hear what you are saying but you are preventing yourself from having
access to what I believe is one of the most powerful features of Money -
reports that cover multiple years. Plus to even see archived data you have
to close out your current file and load an old archive file. This is a
major inconvenience that is eliminated by leaving all data in one big file.

Your reason for archiving is a type of tidiness, and archiving can
be useful for that. Some people archive to make their files smaller
and faster, and their expectations are not usually met.

Default Help with archiving

10/16 I posted, seekng for help with archiving my 2004 records in Money
2003. I came across a solution for why I wasn't able to archive my records
and 2004 is now archived. I find archived years of information to be very
useful. I have them back to 1997 and am able to access them individually by
year.
