David,

This happens to me using Money 2002 when I have unassigned amounts in split
transactions that have been downloaded from my credit card bank.

Money tries to categorize the new downloaded transaction according to old
transactions with the same vendor. It never works right and there are
unassigned or leftover amounts in the split transaction. These unassigned
amounts do not show up when you double click in the report - a horrendous
bug that has existed in Money for many years. May be fixed in newer
versions, I don't know.

But look in your newer split transactions and you might find a left over
amount that is unassigned in the amount of 84.41 or several leftover amounts
that add up to 84.41.

Default Error on Monthly Income & Expenses Report

I am using Money Ver 14.0120.1105

In Reports, Monthly Income & Expenses under the heading of Monthly Cash
Flow, there is a warning sign that says '1 transaction for £84.41 that
doesn't have an assigned category, assign a category.

At the bottom of that month the amount of £84.41 is under "Expense -
Unassigned". When you double click it to view it the report it comes up with
"you have no transactions for this item you selected.

When you highlight the whole month to see that amount it does not exist. and
if you go into any other report it does not exist. I did a search for that
amount for the whole year it still did not show up.

My question is how can I get that warning sign to go a way and how can I get
the amount to go away.

I did ask money to do a simple repair but it did not find anything.
