Thanks, Bob.
I'm glad to hear that all is not lost. Now comes the tricky part.
All the documentation I've found says that the file you import has to be in
..QIF (?) format. I was thinking that after I install Money 2006, I will just
overwrite the My Money.mny file with my old one - or should I re-setup my
business account in 2006 and then import my old .mny file?

Yes and yes, except that you want to do File-> Open rather than
File-> Import.

Let's hope that "My Money.mny" is intact.

Yes and yes provided the new version of Money is from the same geography as
your M2003. i.e. both US or both UK.

Default Importing an Old Money File

I had a system crash yesterday and all I could recover was the "My Money.mny"
file - created in Money 2003. Is this where my data resides? Can I import
this into a new version of Money - since I also lost my Money 2003 CD?
