Default debt reduction snafu

I was working with Money 2000 earlier today and noticed
two problems. One was an account was showing a wrong
beginning monthly balance when I went to balance the
account - and we never figured out how or why (albeit a
problem, I am only offering this tidbit in case it has
something to do with my question). The real problem though
was debt reduction. The planner was paying off my debts in
one month. For example, if I had three accounts with
balances of 30000, 5000, and 1000, it would show may
payoff date (on the screen where you can adjust the amount
paid per month or one time gifts) as Sept 11 - regardless
of where the slide bars were set. Any ideas why this is?
