| You should be entering a check with a check number in your checking account with the Category:Subcategory Loan Payment:[name of Money loan account]. This MUST end up with a transaction in each account. The one in the loan account should reflect a payment number but this is not as surefire as it should be and, notably, can't seem to deal with numbering anything besides monthly payments. It is like a Transfer, which makes an entry in each of two accounts, but it will also expense some interest in addition to transferring some principal. If you want it to enter automatically, you need to schedule a Loan Payment in Bills & Deposits--again, a Loan Payment:[name of Money loan account] in Checking--and set it to enter into the register automatically. | How can I have MNY 2002 enter my check automatically in the car loan accounts list. I now have to go car loan accounts list and enter it manually, it then enters a duplicate entry in my checking account. In MNY 99 when I wrote a check for the loan it would automatically enter it in the car loan account. I know I can go to car loan account and enter the payment there and it would record it in the checking account but then I need to edit it in checking because the entry is entered as payment number not check number. Thanks . Stan |
