I've never been able to do that with WinXP. On my system, the windowsinstaller doesn't load in safe mode. If the OP runs into the same problem, I would first do a clean boot: Start/Run msconfig Selective Startup Clear the check boxes except for Load System Services Select the Services tab and select Hide Microsoft Services Disable All Apply OK Then reboot and do a complete uninstall of Money 2003 per http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;265111 Reboot again and do the new installation of Money 2003. If that works and Money 2003 seems to be working, again Start/Run msconfig and select Normal Startup. Reboot. --ron |

| Money 2003 & Norton Antivirus Just updated my system to P4 and WinXP. Also have Norton Antivirus. Reinstalling programs and cannot reload Money 2003. It stops about 1/2 way through and gives the following message. D:\AVHelp\10cb.exe I have turned off Norton Antivirus but still no luck. Please help! |
