| I have the same problem except my DiscoverCard does update and the others don't. I don't synch with MSN and my version is MM 2005 Deluxe, 14.0.120.1105. My other accounts get Update in Progress. I am not getting any passport errors about being logged on. I'm having somewhat the same problem. Accounts intermittantly do not> an > "update in progress" mode even though nothing appears to be happening. > i've > shut down money several times (even rebooted my computer) and the status > is > unchanged. if i initiate a new online update, it skips very quickly over > the > accounts portion (like 1 second) and then moves right into updating MSN > stuff. NONE of my accounts are actually updated though... update, and it started recently. Sometimes they stick in the "update in progress" state, but the next update attempt clears that. Trying to download updates from multiple financial institutions at the same time seems to make the problem worse. If I do one at a time it completes more often. Bruce. |

| Same thing happening to me... nothing I try is working and I'm stuck in "update in progress." Checking the working offline box at startup doesn't help, neither does trying to repair the file with the Money utility, or going to a backup file from a few days ago... I'm also on Money 2005 version 14.0.80.1105. "Jason" wrote: - quote - > I too am having a mess today. | I too am having a mess today. One time I saw a solution for "update in progress" that worked involved something like holding control and clicking update - I've tried all that an no luck. Now, the problem is compounded because when I go to "add an account" it says "you must be signed in" but I am signed in. I made sure "work offline" was not checked and I am using passport. I'm using money 2005 version 14.0.80.1105 |

| Rod, The same is happening for me. Do you synchronize your accounts with MSN? I tried to remove my data from MSN to try and troubleshoot the problem and Money won't allow me to do that. It says to log in even though I am logged in and not working offline. Last night it was working fine. | Hmmmm... Same problem here. I also cannot remove my passport from the file. I wonder if this is the same old passport issue that resulted in the "charge $30 for a support call" that they instituted back in August 2004??? |

| i tried an update this morning and my accounts (all of them) got stuck in an "update in progress" mode even though nothing appears to be happening. i've shut down money several times (even rebooted my computer) and the status is unchanged. if i initiate a new online update, it skips very quickly over the accounts portion (like 1 second) and then moves right into updating MSN stuff. NONE of my accounts are actually updated though... help?? |
