I did remove the financial institution information several times prior
to my original post and it didn't solve anything.

What ended up fixing the problem was re-downloading the .OFX instead of
just using the one I had originally downloaded. Apparently, Money
remembers which account a file was imported into regardless of what
financial institution information is associated to that account.

Remove the financial institution from the account settings/details
for the "wrong account. Do a download of the OFX. Money should ask
which account to use. Then restore the financial institution for the
"wrong account.

Default OFX import = broken

I accidentally selected the wrong account to import an OFX file into in
Money 2006 Small Biz.

Now everytime I try to import said OFX file, it goes into the same
wrong account.

I tried going into the account setup for both the account I incorrectly
imported into, and the correct account and deleting bank name and
account number information, but somehow Money still remembers where I
imported that file into originally and wants to always import it into
that wrong account.

I really don't want to delete the account as is suggested in some old
topics on this subject seeing as how I have a lot of data in the
account, so is there anything else I can do?
