| I have nearly the same issue but i did have a password its just forgotten and my computer was reformatted. So when i reinstalled ms money 2002 the restore disks ask me for the password and better yet to a mediaone.net address that was bought out by attbi and now is comcast. Am self employed and have years of info. The postings that you got dont seem to address the exact issue did you finally figure it out. Thanks Donna "Dave" wrote: - quote - > I set up a money file on my laptop a few years ago and I originally assigned > a password to protect access to it. | I set up a money file on my laptop a few years ago and I originally assigned a password to protect access to it. I subsequently took away the password and can now access the the file on my laptop without the password. I now have a new desktop and I want to transfer the file to it. The problem is that when I seek to import or restore a backup made from my laptop it looks for a password even though when I use money on my laptop no password is required. As I have forgotten the original password I cannot import or resore the file. Is there any way I can get round this problem -- Thanks |
