| Thanks. I'll give it a try. Hopefully Microsoft will update its Money '06 program and/or backend server issues. It's a shame that Microsoft doesn't seem to pay much attention to this program. | Gus, I installed Money '06 Premium about two months ago. It has been a constent battle to configure the software to update accounts. After much time spent with various customer support and email groups, I was directed to Microsoft's main support group (telephone). After determining my warrentee was valid, I spent two hours on the phone with a systems administrator. She was able to partially fix the problem, but referred my problem to a trouble shooter. These folks fixed it without further intervention from me. My impression is their is a probem at the server level configuring local, MS Money Plus and Bill Pay connectivity. My advice is stop trying to trouble shoot it and call the Microsoft Help Service. | Recently, Money '06 Deluxe has lost the ability to update my bank accounts. I've tried re-installing money, turning off the anti-virus and firewall (although it worked fine before with these on - even in Money '05), and turning the online option off on the accounts and then attempting to turn this option back on. Now, after trying this last option, the account can never "synch" with the bank to get the account information downloaded. Any thoughts? Thank You. |
