The temporary Passport problem was fixed. So you may find that what
failed before works fine now. Otherwise restore a backup file.

Do NOT change your Passport password or anything similar. There is a

You might try to select to work offline. You also might consider
restoring a recent backup file.

Start with
regsvr32 msxml3.dll

which is step 7.7 in
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;891338

If that does not do it, go to method 7, and then the others.

"money has detected you did not close your money file before exiting. Money
now needs to verify the information in your file"

When I click yes I get: "the email address or password is incorrect. Please
try again."

any suggestions?
