| Hi Cal, That worked fine. Version number is 14.0.125.1105. I have also noted the serial number as you suggested. It works real fine with the test file however I still get the same problem when I switch back to the trial expired version. Any ideas very gratefully accepted. I think you are saying that you are again at the password screen> days had expired I bought Money 2005. Is that Passport, or conventional password? - quote - > Anyone have any ideas please.
I would create a new file (named Test, for example) with nothing init and no Passport or password. When it asks about Passport, click decline. Check the version in Help-> About. Does it say 14.0.*.1105? Also write down the serial number while you are there, in case you need it later. You can switch back to your real file after trying that. |

| Hi, Help please. I upgraded to the web trial version of 2004 and after the 90 days had expired I bought Money 2005. After loading I got an error saying msmoney file not found or protected. I downloaded the latest 2005 patch and now it finds the file. However after entering the correct password it blanks it out when I try to enter msmoney. I know it's the correct password and that is reinforced by the fact if I enter any other password it errors and states wrong password. Anyone have any ideas please. Regards Martin |
