I assume you have a set limit on how much you give yourself to spend in cash
each month. If not spending tracker is useless then. What you could do is
just enter a withdrawal with a category called 'My Cash' for example. Then
you would add 'My Cash' to the budget and then you can track what you pay
yourself each month with the spending tracker. Then you just have to make a
deposit into your cash account. I use this method to track my budgeted
savings. There maybe other ways to handles this, you just have to
experiment a little.

The Transfer isn't spending. You don't get poorer when you move a $20 bill
from your right pocket to your left pocket. The Spending Tracker shows
Expenses. These Expenses are Spending. The secret is probably to enter some
transactions with Expense categories into the cash account.

Default Tracking Transfers in spending tracker???

I have an account I call "Cash" which is essentially my spending money
for worthless items... Lunch at fast food places etc.... When I make
a withdrawl I call the transaction "Transfer : Cash" which
automatically puts this in my cash account. This part is working
great... Here is the question, how do I make these "Transfers" show up
in my spending tracker? I tried to add it but MS Money says I can not
add an item with a : in the name.

Grrrr.. Any ideas on how to add this to my tracker?
