Default Re: Money 2004 Transaction Cannot be Entered

I tried your suggestion and apparently chose the wrong .mny file the first
time since it started a brand new file. There were 2 .mny files in My
Documents on the old computer (Money 2004.mny and My Money.mny). I had
copied My Money.mny and pasted to the new computer's My Documents folder
(replacing the one on the new computer). I then copied the Money 2004.mny
file and pasted to the new computer's My Documents folder. It appears that
corrected it since I was able to subsequently enter new transactions and all
the account balances matched.

Thanks for your help.

I suggest you copy the .mny file from the old computer to the Zip
disk, and copy that file to the new computer's My Documents folder.
Open that with Money.

Default Money 2004 Transaction Cannot be Entered

I switched computers and then updated a Money backup file not used on this
machine for a while. I clicked on File, Restore Backup and used the zip
disk backup from the first computer to restore the current status on this
computer. However, when I then enter a transaction in the check register, I
get an error message: "The Transaction cannot be entered".

Is there a way to fix it so I can enter transactions again?
