| I tried your suggestion and apparently chose the wrong .mny file the first time since it started a brand new file. There were 2 .mny files in My Documents on the old computer (Money 2004.mny and My Money.mny). I had copied My Money.mny and pasted to the new computer's My Documents folder (replacing the one on the new computer). I then copied the Money 2004.mny file and pasted to the new computer's My Documents folder. It appears that corrected it since I was able to subsequently enter new transactions and all the account balances matched. Thanks for your help. | I switched computers and then updated a Money backup file not used on this machine for a while. I clicked on File, Restore Backup and used the zip disk backup from the first computer to restore the current status on this computer. However, when I then enter a transaction in the check register, I get an error message: "The Transaction cannot be entered". Is there a way to fix it so I can enter transactions again? |
