You can get your subtotals using the "Transactions by category"
report. Customize to your preferences. You can choose to have
subtotals for categories and subcategories both, or just categories.

The format does not put the categories into different rows, but
rather into different sections. If you wanted a specific format,
that would involve using a spreadsheet.

Default Creating customized report

I am having a little trouble creating a customized report. I have Money Small
Business 2006. I've gotten the reports to show slightly what I want but it's
still missing a few things. I've been using the Account Transactions report,
which shows everything I need except one thing. It has one column for
Category and lists the category there. I want it to have one column for each
category so I may subtotal them at the bottom by that category... Does anyone
know a way I can do that?
