Edit the transactions from Adds to Buys. When you do that, it will take the
money out of cash.

Make the account adjustment manually yourself and save the headache for
something else. Either 2006 doesn't do this anymore or the accounts are not
link together correctly.

Default Money 2006 - Still troubled - Another question

I posted on 9/9/2005, Subject: Money 2006: Strange 401K online updating issues.

All of the below pertains to my company 401K plan, that I track in Money.

I realize now that when I go to accounts, and select Update Now, what Money
2006 is not doing, that my Money 2002 would do.

It updates my positions and fund prices, but it does not reconcile my
account. Meaning, it used to adjust my Cash Transactions to a zero balance.
Now my Cash Transactions account keeps growing, when in fact there is no
money there because my 401K administrator has purchased funds in my behalf.

Again, Money 2002 would reconcile my Cash Transactions account by creating
an "Account Adjustment" entry in the amount of my contribution. This would
create a zero balance in Cash Transactions. Now it just keeps adding my
contributions to the total.

How do I make this account reconcile when selecting Update Now?
