| See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=66 for wish list submission info. You aren't the first to request this here. The issues are probably a) Microsoft sees the intersection between Money users and Outlook users as a small population, and b) Microsoft has no interest in making Money a better tool for managing finances--all they are really interested in is dumbing it down to attract more sheep who are put off if the thing actually requires any knowledge or effort to use and to reduce support costs, and finding more ways to generate revenue from Money users directly and indirectly (by dragging them to advertisers). | Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum to post in, don't know where I would place a feature request. Also did a search and didn't see this particular topic come up. This is just my two cents on MS Money. It would have been nice if it was integrated more with other applications, specifically Outlook where you could set reminders (task) when your bills are due. This would have been especially useful since Money no longer has the task bar app, and Pocket Money lacks any new features and basically hasn't changed since Money 2002 (maybe even earlier). It would be nice to look at just one calendar (Outlook) and see all your appointements, tasks, and bills in one place. Also would have been nice if the payees where integrated with the contacts as well. I'm sure there's other ways Money could integrate it with other MS apps, but maybe it is just too much wishful thinking. |
