Default Re: edit pre-defined indexes in M06?

I got there, too. Perhaps that replaces the old pre-defined fixed (but
editable) list of indices.

You can add any new investment to any account by recording a transaction in
the register. When you do that, you can specify Index as the type, and look
up the symbol. Indexes created in that manner will appear in the drop-down
list for comparison to price history of investments.

I got there, but Once Upon A Time, there was a place to edit the predefined
list so you could, say, replace the definition of one of the predefined
indices (say Inter[at]ctive yah yah) with another (say MSCI EAFE).

On the Portfolio Manager screen, select Work with Investments> Set up a new
investment. You have to select an account. Pick Investments to Watch, if it
still exists. You'll get a 'New Investment' wizard. At the bottom is the
option to add an index. Pick that and it presents you with a pre-defined
list.

Default edit pre-defined indexes in M06?

We used to be able to edit details of the pre-defined indexes in M04 or
earlier versions. As I recall, the path to do this was very obscure--so
obscure, in fact, that I can't even find a thread in the groups.google
archives reminding me how you got at it.

Anybody know if/how you accomplish the same objective in M06? I keep trying
to get with the M06 program here, but I keep finding stuff like this that is
so much harder to get to in M06. Like the old Work with investments|Choose a
specific investment. No easy way to get there in M06. But on half the pages
I have a link to find a great deal on a car loan. Argh.
