| Same issues. Checked the MSN account I purchased 2006 Premium with, shows 'Cancelled'. Called customer support, explained the situation, was told that all Microsoft could do was refund my purchase. Problem - my purchase (upgrade) price was $67.95. Online purchase price is $79.95. Both have the same $30 rebate (although I don’t know if I qualify for a second rebate, since it states only one rebate per household). Sure, I can purchase the boxed version elsewhere, or (more likely after this experience) purchase a competitor's product. It seems to me that Microsoft should stand by their original purchase price, since the error was COMPLETELY theirs. As it stands, if I were foolish enough to follow Microsoft's advice and re-purchase Premium after my original purchase has been credited, I'm out an additional $12. Or perhaps more correctly, Microsoft stands to gain a $12 profit on their mistake, while I’ve wasted my time trying to resolve a situation created solely by Microsoft. | I too am having the same issue - and I'm pretty computer literate. I've been using Money for quite a few years now, and I can't seem to get the Trial warning to go away, and I have 9 days to get this resolved. I've done the following: Purchase:Microsoft Money 2006 Premium Upgrade (one-time charge of $67.95 plus tax) My Credit Card (Visa: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) I used the same passport - getting the data above was how I verified this. I've also created a blank money file, signed in with my .NET Passport, and it still showed the Trial. Any suggestions? I'll continue to read this thread to see if we come to some resolution - aside from calling product support. -- A McGuire "Bryan" <Bryan[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A2593402-E05A-4D3F-AFE4-8D5D7012968B[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Yes... it is the only passport I have ever had. | Bryan... Thank you very much for the inforamtion. I had the same issue and I called and they reset it back to "enabled". I reinstalled Money from my original downloaded file and everything is back to normal. I'm glad you figured it out and let me know because I already wasted half the weekend trying to figure it out on my own. Who knows how long it would've been before I would've thought to check the billing?!!! I thought it was a one time payment and I was done. Evidentally, it checks to see if you payed for it every time you sign in! It's too bad that the Microsoft representative in the newsgroup couldn't help us with this... I also don't think having the CD media would of made any difference since it was our Passport accounts that were hosing us up! Thanks again for the help! "Bryan" wrote: - quote - > Joe... | I am having exactly the same problems with Money 2006 Standard. Like other users on this topic, I have tried all the suggested solutions and had no success. This is an extreme amount of work for what is supposed to be a very simple program. I am pissed that I have had to spend over three hours of my weekend, trying to make a piece of software work. Damn it Microsoft, get your act together and issue a fix. "Bryan" wrote: - quote - > I purchased Money 2006 a few months ago. Last night I had to reload my > laptop.
