I am getting tired of them removing functions from the application and putting the exclusively on the internet. I think that I going to start investing moving to an open source platform seeing that Microsoft does not care about their customers and wants to move everything to the web and start charging a yearly access your data fee. | Re: Microsoft Money 2006 for the Pocket PC What I have found, that once you install it on the other locations, it will keep installing there. What I had to do (in order to get it to reinstall properly) is uninstall it, and ensure that there were no files referencing Money on the Pocket PC. Then I also checked the registry on the Desktop PC and changed it so that it would install it in the proper location. Of course I think that you might can uninstall it from the desktop before reinstalling on the Pocket PC. Money Deluxe 2006 already installed and I installed Money for PPC 2006 Problems: 1) If you install MPPC2006 in anything other than the STANDARD memory store on your PPC device the .lnk file in "Programs" will not start MPPC2006 until you manually change the .lnk file to point it to the correct location. Case: I have a iPaq 3630 with a MemPlug dual-CF slot Expansion Sleeve. I installed MPPC2006 to \Slot2, and the link in "Programs" is hard-coded to point to "\windows" for the directory to find the .exe file. 2) There is absolutely NO way for me to sync from Money Deluxe 2006 to MPPC2006. There are no entries in ActiveSync list for Money 2006. 3) There is absolutely NO support listed or available on www.microsoft.com or the URL that Gordon provided. I also saw the same URL listed on www.activewin.com - I think it's odd that there would be such a product released with no support. Hence, unless I'm an absolute idiot, I would say that MPPC2006 is a non-starter, unless you want to do all of your accounts and transactions manually between softwares - and isn't that antithetical to what Microsoft would like to provide to it's users?
