| Something very strange is/was going on with online services in Money 2002 over the past month or so. Don't know how others were affected. I never had any problems downloading active statements from Citicards where I have 2 very active accounts but when I tried to setup online services for a new Citicard account using my mother's Money file a few weeks ago it would not work. Then I opened a new Visa card myself at Chase and was not able to setup online services for that account either. I then tried to setup online services for other test accounts and could not do it at any institution whatsoever. The screen where you enter your login info would not come up, instead I got an error message that I reported in other threads. Today, after reading your post, I tried to setup my mother's account again just to see what would happen. Strangely, and to my amazement, it worked fine and I can now setup online services for any institution I like including Citicards. Whatever the problem was had nothing to do with Citicards in particular but affected every bank and brokerage in the list of online institutions. I have made zero changes in my computer setup or Money, the problem simply disappeared. I have been using Money since the first version (upgraded every year until 2002) and I have never seen anything like this. Weird. Don't know if MSFT had anything to do with this situation or not. | There have been many reports of problems getting Active Statements from Citicards. The issue data wasn't being downloaded and the only way to resolve was by disabling online services, then re-enabling them. Citi now reports that they have resolved this issue, and the fix was pushed live on 8/31. Is anyone still seeing the problem since then? Thanks, -- Michael Gordon MVP |
