Default Re: Accessing Qdata on home network

You must be running an Admin account to do this, but you absolutely must not
have the .mny file open from both PCs at the same time. Corruption is
guaranteed!

Default Accessing Qdata on home network

I am trying to access Qdata.mny from a laptop (win98) on my home network, but
that generates an error message saying the file is read-only or there is a
problem with security privileges. The file was created on a desktop running
XP (sp2, all recent updates). I have enabled sharing for the Money 2002
folder and the Qdata.mny file on the desktop and ensured that Qdata.mny is
not read-only, but still get the error message. I have no problem sharing
other files on my network. What am I doing wrong?
