Well, before a half-hour ago, I had no idea that you could delete points in
the graph, nor did I realize that the split was recorded twice. Removing the
bogus split entry fixed the problem. I have no idea where it came from.

No. I am suggesting that you need to delete any price entries that
are not correct. If there is a split, any prices that precede that
date are split-adjusted. If you see an anomalous price, delete it.
However do that AFTER deleting the extra split entry.

ya think? ;-)

The EBAY split went ex-d on 17-Feb-05. Delete the 2/23/2005 split.

Cal - Thanks for the info, but I'm not sure I understand this. Are you
suggesting that Money doesn't understand splits, and that you have to delete
all stock price information manually that pre-dates the split?

I've got downloaded entries for this graph that go back to 2002. Do I need
to delete them all up to 2/25/05? There are a few items in that list that
would seem to indicate that Money should understand splits:

2/25/2005 $42.240 Online
2/23/2005 2 for 1 Stock Split
2/18/2005 $21.230s Online
2/17/2005 2 for 1 Stock Split
2/11/2005 $20.517s Online

(Were there 2 splits in Feb? I doubt it. Maybe this is the problem.)

Go to the Price History graph and click
UpdatePrices-> UpdatePricesManually.

Find the bad prices from 2/23 and 2/25/2005, and delete them. Also
note that you will see the split in that same area.

Default Stock splits & graphs

When I look at the price history for eBay, I'm seeing a large increase in the
graph between 2/23 and 2/25/205, when their stock split occurred. It seems
that Money 2006 doesn't understand that this was a split. This discontinuity
makes it impossible to compare the eBay graph with others in my portfolio. Is
there some way to fix this problem?
