| Thank you Mr. MVP....wonder what Microsoft would do without you guys??? Your suggestion fixed this issue. I was able to change both Interest rate and the Credit limit. But why like that?!!!! In any case, I appreciate very much for your help and time. | Thanks for the info.... Yes, I am using Money 2006 Standard. You are correct, Sir. I wish I was on the phone with that MS Support! In Canada, it's been many years now that the only version we get is Standard and no other version is available. So, this is our only choice. I just need something that I can keep track of my personal accounts...credit cards, saving, expenses and etc. Now, if I cannot change one simple Interest rate or the limit of one of my credit cards with Money 2006, then it's time to do some research and see what else is out there....Quicken maybe! There is no reason to pay more to get the Deluxe version (even if it was available in Canada) to do just that. So, Mr. Ballmer: You just lost another customer for your Money...for now! Don't do this http://news.com.com/Court+docs+Ballm...l?tag=nefd.top .....see what people need, then they will stay with you guys...or else! Try this to change the interest rate in Money 2006 for your credit> credit card accounts. When one goes to "Change Account Settings", the Credit > Information is displayed, but there is no option to change it. Help? card: 1. Go to Account Settings by right-clicking the account on the account list. 2. If the Account Type drop-down is grayed out, disable online access for that account 1. If the credit card is enabled for online access, disable that. Banking-> AccountTools-> ManageOnlineServices. Click the credit card account, and choose StopUsingOnlineServices.... 2. Go to Account Settings by right-clicking the account on the account list. 3. Change the Account Type drop-down to Liability. If the Account Type drop-down is grayed out, you probably did not disable online access for that account. (changing to Bank also seemed to work, but gave a different setup) 4. Click ChangeLiabilityDetails. Change the interest rate. Click OK. 5. Change the Account Type drop-down to Credit Card. ================================================== ====== |
