Default RE: Grouped (investment) price history report

Use a performance report. Select the investments that you want to track
along with the date range. You can then see your percentage gain/loss for
whichever investments/investment accounts you choose. Take either the
standard Performance by Account or Performance by Investment Type reports and
customize them to see what you want, and then save your customization as a
favorite report.

Default Grouped (investment) price history report

Does anyone know a way to modify the Price History report to not show
the invidual stocks/mutal funds over time, but instead a grouped total
amount that you can see fluctuate over time by percentage? It seems
like an obvious report that was apparently overlooked.
