I don't think it is possible to have the customized version appear
on the "home" page, but I could be wrong.

You can have Money start with the Reports page instead of the Home
page.
Tools-> Settings-> ProgramSettings-> (DisplayStartMoneyWithThisPageOpen:Reports

Customise in UK and customize in US. I followed your lead of your
first post.

I think that modifying a report normally leaves it modified until
you reset. In case something is different with your system, saving
may solve the problem for you. It may not.

Forgot to ask a new question.

How do I add a favorite report to the Home layout. I would like to change
the "Spending By Category" report for the one I just customized and I saved
like favorite.

I tried to do it by the "Customize" button but I don't find the way to
retrieve the favorite reports in this screen

BTY my english dictionary keep saying that it should be "Customize" not
"Customise" .. which one is correct?

OK... Problem wasn't about "applying"; the problem is that it has to be saved
like a favorite. Which let me know that predefined reports cannot be
modified. Can they?

So it answer my second question… How to create a new report? The way to
create new reports is modifying a predefined one and add it like a favorite.
Did I get right?

Thanks for the help

I thing it is a good thing to tell "Don't forget to apply just changes!!!"
But believe me. I made sure I did apply. At first I thought I didn't... but
sure I did.

After you customise, click OK or Apply. If you click Reset, it will
undo your changes.

One thing you can do is to customise your report, and then save that
customised version as a Favorite.

Default Customise doesn't keep changes.

Hi!!
I have Money 2005... I would like to customise some report in order to avoid
some categories in reports. I did it for "Spending by Categories" report.. I
ommited some and it worked great, howevver, when I return to home the report
still show the categories I ommited and when I go to the report waht I
customised is gone.

Is there a bug in this?

Can I create new report from nothing at all? or from a template?
