| I just found the setting that fixes this: Tools/Settings/Online Settings - uncheck the line that says "Enter electronic payments with the processing date". You can read more about it by finding this entry in the Help Text: "Electronic payments are entered into the account register using the processing date". It showed up when I search on "Due Date" "JF" wrote: - quote - > "Marilyn & Bob" wrote: > > Yes, it will tell you on the Bill Summary page. | Just to be clear, you do have to go to the Bill Summary page. The notices on the Home Page of Money relate to the Due date. While you can choose how much in advance of the Due date the bill shows on the Home Page, the send date is not relevant in this alert. -- Peace, BobJ "wired" <wired[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A9E9E7FD-87CE-4241-80FB-F623EBC727A7[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Thanks, thats what I wanted, looks like I will be switching. > TW > "Marilyn & Bob" wrote: > > Yes, it will tell you on the Bill Summary page. | Yes, it will tell you on the Bill Summary page. "This electronic payment must be sent in 'n' days" along with the actual Due date. -- Peace, BobJ "wired" <wired[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5BA7F3A5-3250-4CCD-A8C1-32C2C2E13947[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > thanks Dan, > I don't want it to record, I want it to show that last day that is > possible > to send it electronicly as the due date, even though the real due date is > a > few days away. | thanks Dan, I don't want it to record, I want it to show that last day that is possible to send it electronicly as the due date, even though the real due date is a few days away. Does that make sense? | In Bills & payment, you can set it to record as many days before payment as you wish. For instant if the bill is due on the 6th of the month, you can set it to show payment on the 1st of the month. (Reminder to self). | I am looking at switching from the Q to ms money, but I would like to know how Money handles Billpay payments. Does it take into account the back processing time? For example, if a bill is scheduled to be do on 8/31 and the bank need 4 days to process the payment, when does money say the bill is due? on the 8/31 or 8/27? Thanks TW |
