| I actually started over with a fresh Money 2006 file - exported, downloaded, and rebuilt my finances in it from scratch (using Money 2004 to comapre results against). Took me on and off over a week to do it (used Money since 2002). I was coming from Money 2004. I think the file gets corrupted in 2004 in ways that are not detected (I did plenty of repairs) and that affects 2006). Once I did that, I don't have any of the weird problems people are reporting here, it's working flawlessly although I don't use budgeting (I use online payments, download of financials, reports, etc.) I just hope 2006 doesn't corrupt now... | All right, I have an answer for this problem direct from Microsoft support. Run File Repair. The Quick version, NOT the Standard version. (I ran the Standard version before with no result.) If that doesn't work, try running the Standard version of File Repair, then running the Quick version on your renamed file. This is what the support tech had me do originally, which worked, but I found out that I could run Quick File Repair on my original file with the same result. This made the Done button work again, and the transactions in my account register reappear. No ideas on what caused it though. |

| Also, I should say my temporary workaround is this: Go into the Bills area. Create a one-time only bill for the correct transaction. Back to the Account Register. Change the incorrect match to match the new bill. Then and only then will the Done button work. I'm so glad that Money '06 is making it easier to handle my finances. |

| Oh, goody, I found another bug. You can right-click the erroneous matched transaction and select "Unmatch"--however, Money won't unmatch the transaction. It will create a NEW, separate downloaded entry from your bank, but still leave the old unreconciled entry as matched to the wrong thing, only now it says "Matched to a part of a downloaded transaction". Oh, this is all effed up. Also, I had said before that the list of transactions to choose from only listed future dates from my account register--that was wrong. If I want to match from a different transaction, the list of transactions I have to choose to match from is ONLY coming from my Bills area. Nothing from my account register is listing AT ALL. |

| Matching Transactions: Done button doesn't work. You must accept the will of MSMoney. |
