| My file is 26-30 MEGABYTES. I guess the speed issue has to do with your hardware. | I am running on Windows 98 and Money 2003. I do not feel that my file is too large because of all the data I have. i.e.. [at]10 credit cards through the years. [at]8 loans, home inventory and my 401K. Yes sometimes my computer runs slow but for the size of the drive and memory available I think it does a good job. Cindy |

| 2 or 3 floppies might be 3*1.44MB = 4.32MB max. You have nothing to worry about. I am at about 16MB Money file with data back to 1993 and mine works fine. I'm running a t667MB with 128MB on Win 98. slowing down, I believe that archiving is NOT the answer to the problem. | guess i'm getting concerned because it's so large i can't operate other programs while i have money running, and in a couple years the problem can only get worse, i assume. mine is also 2-3 floppies... maybe not as much of a problem as i think? - quote - > -----Original Message----- > How big to you consider too big? > Have you made your file smaller under options? > I have info starting in 96 and my file is about 2 or 3 floppies (depending > on the day) compressed. > Cindy > . |

| How big to you consider too big? Have you made your file smaller under options? I have info starting in 96 and my file is about 2 or 3 floppies (depending on the day) compressed. Cindy |
