I called MS directly. I was on the phone with them for an hour unti
we figured it out. In order to merge accounts, one account has to b
online and one offline. I have no idea why! From there I was able t
merge the accounts.

So far M06 seems more complicated than M04. It will take a while t
figure it out

A big part of the reason that I have not moved to M05 or M06 is du
to this problem. There appears to be no way to deal with these i
M05/M06 other than to just close them, let them continue to downloa
transactions, and manually exclude them from all of you

The credit card accounts are actually duplicates. So even though th
accounts are closed, they are still accepting the new downloade
transactions. When I try the merge feature, the accounts I want t
merge are not listed. The duplicate accounts only list the last
transactions. I do not have any other transactions in the register.
I don't know how to eliminate these duplicate accounts at this point.
Any other suggestions are appreciated

No, it will not automatically be excluded from financial reports. You'll
need to customize the reports to exclude those accounts.

If I close the account will it automatically exclude them fro
financial reports? I had the account closed and it was stil
receiving transactions after the update

Also, based on my past experience, you don't want to delete those
credit cards accounts if you also have in use a check register with
checks made out to them. I dId this once and all the checks
disappeared from the Money check register - 3 years worth! Had to
manually reenter all of them - fortunately I had 12 months of
statements and a paper register for the older ones.

You can't delete the accounts so long as you use online services from their
associated financial institution. Unfortunately, the only solution is to
mark the accounts as closed and exclude them from your financial reports.

Default Deleting accounts

When I upgraded to M06 I had some old credit card accounts reappear a
duplicates. Same account #'s, different account names. Even thoug
these accounts are closed, the updates list transactions for bot
accounts. I have tried to merge accounts but when I do this th
accounts that I want to merge are not listed. So is there any way
can delete the account? I just want to delete the account but
tried this and it insists that I close the account. Or if I choos
to delete the account it will automatically delete other account
from the same bank (why??). Is there a way around this

Thanks
