Default Re: money 2006 and E-trade

I did this and it is still trying to connect to e-trade. I have two
"microsoft money background banking" programs trying to connect through
ZoneAlarm. Could the program still be trying to connect?

thank you.

OK. I would make an extra copy/backup of your file in case. Then I
would remove the Passport. File-> PasswordManager.

While E-trade should not need Passport, you might have other FIs
that do. Give it a try, and if things do not improve, revert to your
extra copy/backup.

Default money 2006 and E-trade

I have been having a problem since I installed Money 2006. It seems as if it
is trying to connect to my e-trade accounts and download the information
without me requesting it. The problem with this is that with E-trades new
security log-in system, the last part of my password changes each time I log
in. and after 5 attempts it locks me out of my account. so, I cannot save a
password in money 2006 (and do not) as it is always changing. The problem is
that it appears that money 2006 or money online is trying to get the data
from this account. i think that it is msn money online. But if I tell money
not to do the online updates it does not let me update my citibank and MBNA
accounts.

Is there any way to stop money online from trying to download account info?

thanks
