I don't see the issue.

So the account isn't in the budget anymore. You solved your own issue.

Do you also want to remove the account from the reports? If so, you need to
customize the reports to exclude that account.

Default Budget Allocations

Problem: Two accounts both load into budget report
generator. I want to eliminate one of the two accounts
from loading into monthly budget reports.

Solution: ? FYI - I did uncheck the box - "include this
account in the budget planner". Now it doesn't show in
budget numbers but it still shows in the reports?
