Saving the logs is easy. They will be in the same folder as your
Money file. Analyzing can be very hard.



Here are two easy things to look for.

Look for any occurrences of "<SEVERITY> ERROR". That would be a case
of the bank indicating the error, and Money simply passing on the
error message.

Look for any occurrences of the ampersand "&" character that are not
part of "&amp;" or "&AMP;". That character is sometimes part of the
name of a business. It is a special character.

There is no intrinsic reason why Money 2005 should not accept your valid
OFX files. There must be something about the files which it does not
like - unless your particular installation is broken.

The bank provider is actually Credit Agricole - a French bank. The
downloads have worked 1-2 times since Money2005 was installed - and as
everyone knows - I had no problems in my previous version Money2002.

Hope someone can help with a solution? (besides entering all data by hand -
I realize this is one possibility... though one I do not prefer)
