| That did work, thank you. I was trying to point it directly to the root of the CD RW drive and that didn't work. Once I used "browse" instead of manually typing in the CD drive letter, it entered the correct path--the one you gave me below. | Thanks, I'll give that a try. | Hi Dick, If you mean can I burn files to CD from Windows Explorer--yes, I can. And I suppose I could just copy the Money backup file from its default location after closing the program, but I want the backup to happen from within Money. | I am using XP and built in burn program and point to this setting "C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning\XXXXXX Backup" This puts it into the burn queue for CD. You would use whatever names you use. | I have repeatedly tried to point Money 2k6 to my RW/CD drive for periodic backups (rather than the floppy drive) and every time get an "invalid path" error. Anyone else having this problem? Or have a fix? Thanks. Linda Veale |
