All I know is that in Money 2004 I can see almost my whole portfolio o most of the screen in "Your Portfolio". In 2005, "Portfolio Manager" i a small box and you can't enlarge it, so I had scroll up and down an sideways to see my investments. It doesn't seem like resolution shoul make a difference. Apparently it doen't bother anyone else, based on th responses. The margin/border areas are a fixed number of pixels rather than a percent, so the overhead will vary greatly with monitor resolution. So 139 pixels is a bigger deal if your monitor is 600 pixels high than if your monitor is 1200 pixels high. While 2004 has After Tax Value column, I did not use that column. There are too many variables to make that accurate. However 2006 adds these columns that I do use: Forward PE, Bid, Ask, Today's Total Change, and Industry Sector. |

| Another MVP reminded me that this is driven by screen resolution. I'm running a very high resolution screen, so I don't see the difference so much. In Money 2004, "Your Portfolio" took up about 80% of th screen. Microsoft Support said there was no way to enlarge it. This wa unacceptable to me so I reaverted back to 2004 and have been very happ ever since. I was wondering if other people are bothered by 200 Portfolio Manager? | I upgraded from Money 2004 Deluxe to 2005 Deluxe. I really liked "You Portfolio" in 2004. It filled most of the computer screen and and i was easy to view all your investments. In Money 2005, "Your Portfolio was replaced with "Portfolio Manager". Unfortunately, "Portfoli Manager" was very small and there is no way to enlarge it. To vie investments, you have to scroll up and down, which I found ver enoying. In fact, I finally just uninstalled Money 2005 and reinstalle 2004. That was a great decision. I'm curious if other people ar bothered by the size of "Portfolio Manager" and the new look -- Jwalke --------------------------------------- Jwalker's Profile: http://www.msusenet.com/member.php?userid=396 View this thread: http://www.msusenet.com/t-187095901 |
