There is more than one way.> I decided to start all over. So I downloaded from multiple bank accts. money > import files. When you process the first transaction, enter it as a transfer. When you process the second transaction, be careful to not just Accept; click Change and match it to the transfer you already made. If you have duplicate transactions in the account, Delete or Void the extras. 2. Make each transfer to an account (could be "Cash or other" account) that could be called "In Transit". This is a about as foolproof as it gets. The account should have a zero balance except during the interval between events. This allows separate dates on the two sides of the transfer. |

| Categorize the first one you download as a Transfer:[name of other acct]. Match the second one you download to the entry this will make in that account. | I have just bought money 2006, since I've had some issues with my 2005 file I decided to start all over. So I downloaded from multiple bank accts. money import files. Here's the issue, I have a checking and a savings acct, different banks, I've transferred money between these two accts many times. These transfers show up in the downloaded files, but are not linked between the two accts. So the withdraw from one shows as an expense, and the deposit to the other shows as income. other than changing the category, which causes a second trans action to appear in the other acct, and then deleting the original, is there anyway to change these so they are connected? -- Thanks Wayne Sepega Jacksonville, Fl Enterprise Library Configuration Console Module Generator http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/elccmg "When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute.
