I've since learned the following:

Why Microsoft requires you disable MSN Bill Pay services if you convert an
earlier Money file and set up for Yodlee: The reason for this is
independent of Yodlee. It is because you have to set up account
synchronization ("Access your data on the web"). When you use the same
Passport as you use for your MSN Bill Pay, synchronization will bring down
the MSN Bill Pay accounts (this would not happen in 2004), but they will
have different identification values than your banking accounts. They will
come down as extra accounts with Bill Pay services enabled, but no Banking
services. If you did not disable the service from your Banking accounts, you
would be unable to merge the accounts. You cannot merge two accounts which
both are enabled with Online Services.

Therefore, you must disable before you turn on synchronization.

I don't know, as I don't use MSN Bill Pay.

Did you have to disable MSN Bill Pay to use Yodlee? Does anyone know why
it's required?

Yes, this is mostly fixed. I rarely see the problem in Money 2006.

Default Money 2006 - Problem Solved?

I've been having the problem with Money 2005 Premium where I constantly need
to match transactions that have already been matched. Has anyone noticed if
this is fixed in 2006?

You are prompted to match downloaded transactions from Yodlee to
transactions in your Money 2005 data file
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;890440

I'm not sure I see any reason to upgrade from 2005, but if that was fixed it
would be worth it.
