| BTW, if it prints but is just not "on target", have you checked the alignment settings in Setup|Print (or similar--I can't remember the exact name)? These let you adjust on 1/16" increments l-r and u-d. | I use the same checks with no difficulty. It sounds like when you go to print checks you have the the question, "how many checks are on the first page" incorrectly. Money will only print in portrait mode if you answer that question as 3. It will also decrement the number automatically. Money expects you to turn the checks 90 degrees if you have only 1 or 2 checks on the page. This however is does not work on all printers; so many of us have developed various ways around this. Since I now generally only have a single check to print in a month I will always change the count to 3 no matter how many checks exist. Obviously do not print more checks at a time than actually exist on the sheet of checks. Hope I understood your problem. | Have you set the settings to Laser Wallet (I'm guessing that's the right style.) Have you made sure to tell the Print Checks dialog how you want to print partial sheets and how many checks are on the sheet? | I tried printing bills on my new Deluxe Checks (3 per page, prod # 80976) and the test print worked fine. It printed on the correct check and was in portrait format. I then put a real 3 on a page form and the check printed out in landscape format making it unusable. Has anyone else had this problem? I am still using the trial version of Money 6. Could it have something to do with that? I never changed the orientation of my printer at all so I can't figure out why it would print portrait correctly on the test print and landscape (incorrectly) on the real check. I have already gone through 2 pages of 3 on a page checks and it's happened both times. Deluxe Checks said they couldn't help me and that I should contact MS. MS doesn't recognize the PID for my trial version which is why I am posting to this newsgroup. HELP!!!!! |
