| AI M, any update for us - did Cal's fix work ? I have M2004 and a ATT charge card (Citibank) and it hadn't worked for months. Last night I went into Online Services setup and selected ATT Universal again and it prompted me for connection info again - I then selected Online Services - update and it updated. I then tried this again: If I manually open ATT money account and try -connect to online services - it says it worked but no info in file.. So only if part of my "Daily Online Update" does it work. I did go to the website - downloaded the file and IMPORT - says it imported - and for 2 months only I got data - the others showed nothing - even though I know I had activity. I think you are getting the data from citicards, right? They are owned by Citibank, but the services are different. Citicards actually have their own OFX server to deliver data to Money. Yes, there may be a problem there. While it works for me, others are having the problem you describe. At least one person reported success by discontinuing the Citicard access, and then setting it up again. I did not have to set it up again. So wondering what is different, here are a couple of questions: Do you have a Passport on your file? Do you have the card linked to a Citibank website that also includes access to your checking account? - quote - > Also, you mentioned a log. Is
It depends on how motivated and curious you are, and even then you> there something that I might learn from that? may not learn anything useful. If you 1. copy the four lines at the bottom of this post between the "====" lines to a file named provlog6.reg 2. open Money 2006 3. run provlog6.reg in a command window or with Start-> Run (the registry bit that gets set gets cleared upon each update or when you restart Money 2006.) 4. Do Update Now in Money, you will get a file named *RQ.txt (the request) and another named *RS.txt (the response) in the same directory as your .mny file. You can view the file with Notepad or other text editor. Analyzing it can be tricky. If you paste some or all of it into a response post, modify the <ACCTID> XXXXXXXXXXXXnnnn line to remove the numbers. Modify any balance numbers or payees. you don't want known. If there is not an error, expect the response file to have a line that says <SEVERITY> INFO Here is a typical charge transaction: --------- <STMTTRN<TRNTYPE> DEBIT <DTPOSTED> 20050728170000 <TRNAMT> -24.56 <FITID> 9876543200001 <SIC> 1234 <NAME> ROADRUNNER ACME ANVILS </STMTTRN------------------------------ ==============begin provlog6.reg================ REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Money\15.0\On line] "FLogProviderData"=dword:00000001 ==============end provlog6.reg================ |

I do click on " Transactions to read: 6" There are none in the register. I did clear the cache and run the repair that you suggested. Still none of the 6 transactions are visible. I should add that this works fine with Money 2004. Does that still indicate that it may be a problem with Citi-Bank? Also, you mentioned a log. Is there something that I might learn from that? Al |

How do I review/accept the downloaded > items in Money 2006? Some others have recently posted having that problem with Citicard. I don't have that problem. I recently tried, having set Money to provide log data for the transaction. Something odd happened: I got two response logs instead of one. But it still worked for me. Here is what I would try, even tho it did not work for the others: In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles. Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair. If that does not do it, you might try logging on at http://www.citicards.com and click Help/ContactUs-> ContactUs. |

| I have a Citi Bank Master Card account that I have been updating just fine using MS Money 2004. With Money 2006 I do an update and according to the summary screen everything updates OK. Looking at the Banking/Account list screen it shows "Transactions to read: 6". When I click on transactions to read and go to my credit card account it states at the top left the following: Downloaded: 8/2/2005 at 6:01AM Balance ($767.79) Items to review (6) However, the account register does not show any new items to accept as it did in money 2004. the last transaction shown in the Account register is the one from the Money 2004 file. How do I review/accept the downloaded items in Money 2006? Al |
