| I think that's a Yodlee feature... it just logs in as you on the web page and lists your accounts. It then tries to download all of them. I don't remember this feature with Direct Services certainly. Unfortunately, Citibank didn't say my accounts were closed, it looks like a normal account when listed until you try to access it. Then it tells you to call a certain number. You're right though that this is probably a major headache for many people. -- John "Aloke Prasad" <aprasad123[at]columbus.rr.invalid> wrote in message news:%231KBdOBmFHA.3900[at]TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... - quote - > Thanks. | Thanks. That helped. I wish the file import process did not "rejuvenate" closed accounts. | How does one do that? I am on the Change Account Settings page. It won't let me delete the Financial institution (saying that a bank name must be specified for a inline-enabled account). It won't let me delete the account, saying that I'll have to delete all accounts at that institution. So, how do I disable on-line features for a closed account? -- Aloke ---- to reply by e-mail remove 123 and change invalid to com "JohnA" <John[at]TheAtas.org-spamguard> wrote in message news:%23ZQrsB3lFHA.2484[at]TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... - quote - > Make sure you dissociate the closed accounts with your userid on the web > site or they will reappear again at some point. | Make sure you dissociate the closed accounts with your userid on the web site or they will reappear again at some point. | Nevermind. The import of M2004 into M2006 re-activated old closed accounts. That seriously messed up the online update process. | I installed Money 2006 over Money 2004. I didn't use Passport or MSN, just regular online downloads from my bank, credit card, and broker. Needless to say, M2004 updated everything just fine minutes before the upgrade. Now, I'm having problems with 2 financial institutions: Fidelity Investments: gives "General Error" Citi Cards: gives "We are unable to process your request. Please call customer service at 1-800-347-xxxx" Are there any tips to making on-line activities work again with these institutions? Any way to capture the error messages in more detail? I called Fidelity at the above #, who had no information on M2006. They transferred me to MS (I'm on hold as I type..) How do you reset the on-line settings for the institution? I'm afraid that if I disable and re-enable on-line settings, I'll get all my transactions downloaded again and duplicated :-( -- Aloke ---- to reply by e-mail remove 123 and change invalid to com |
