| Well I got the accounts merged but it was a lot of work. I had to export my investments, one account at a time, as a qif file and then import it into the mny file with my banking information. The import process did not always find stock symbols, so there was a lot of manual symbol lookup. In addition, it did not handle stock splits well, so there was a look of manual effort to handle these stock splits. |

| No, it only allows me to replace the data on the web with the accounts in the Money file that I open. I have deleted the Investments accounts in the Money file with my Banking data and it still does not allow a merge. It would be nice if we could select what accounts to put on the web. It only shows them for information purposes. |

Now try Tools-> Settings-> AccessYourDataOnTheWeb. Does that allow you to do some merging? |

Here is how I think you might proceed:> to Money 2006. I've maintained my Investment information on a MSN Money > Central Portfolio. Back up both the MSN Money and the Money file. Then add the same Passport that you use on your MSN Money to your Microsoft Money file. Open and close Money. Let us know how the things work for you. |

| I have maintained my Banking information in MS Money which I just upgraded to Money 2006. I've maintained my Investment information on a MSN Money Central Portfolio. How do I merge data in the two .mny files that each uses. At one time I had Money 2004 put both up on the MSN website but somehow that information is outdated. johnsi3[at]cox.net |
