| Thanks for the advice. Last night I have fixed the problem. The conflict was between MS Money and Matrox G550 video driver settings. The video driver has an option to roll up windows when Shift+Minimize button is pressed. Unchecking this option solved the problem. Tools-> Settings-> ProgramSettings and set the (GeneralDisplay StartMoneyWithThisPageOpen:Accoun tListOpen the problem file. Then Tools-> Settings-> HomePageDisplayOptions and Remove the Investment Performance module. There has been a problem where a lot of investments triggers a crash upon opening where Money opens to the "Home Page". Let us know if this helps with your Money 2006 problem. |

| Repair of data file? No, it doesn't. Even if I create a new file and go to reports or see the cash flow it blows. |

| Open it, without the charts, and do a "repair" -- does that help? -- Michael Gordon MVP "GoogleUser" <ahavriluk[at]yahoo.com> wrote in message news:1122362491.215469.209950[at]g47g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... - quote - > I am having problem with MS Money 2006 at start up. | I am having problem with MS Money 2006 at start up. The application starts and when it gets to the home page it shuts down. The process remains in the memory. I have to kill it in a task manager then. The issue is, I think, with some component which Money uses to draw charts. If the home page has no charts on it, it works OK and I can move around the application and do anything I want. As soons as I touch the page which requires some chart to be present, the application desappears. I have tried to run it under a different account on the same box and it work OK. I might have something missing in my environment. Some component required for chart drawing. BTW, MS Money 2005 works fine. Please, help. Thank you. |
