Bank of America's web page that describes how to get web statements is wrong. On both the direct connect and web connect help pages they're telling us to use "Bank of America (all except...)". Then it tries to connect directly with BOA and will always fail. Use the entry for "Bank of America" (by itself) and then Money will properly assume you want web statements to be downloaded manually. A BOA online support specialist told me that they're not telling customers to use that choice because they want customers to NOT use Money's internal browser (yet they're not letting BOA customers know that until you get 2nd level support). The BOA online support specialist also told me that that was an expired entry and BOA intends to eliminate it (which will make it impossible associate the account with BOA). However, even that's not working correctly, since I just downloaded dupes for the 5th time using active statements (which is not supposed to happen with that format). |

| Jane, It should be possible to download an Active Statement by manually logging into the BOA web site. With the recently completed integration of Fleet accounts into BOA Online Banking, the site indicates that former Fleet customers should login using their ATM/Check Card number and PIN. Are you using these numbers? Not being a former Fleet customer, I can only assume the integration would yield the same account access features that other BOA customers have. But I suppose there is a chance that yours could either be different or temporarily limited. Regards, JB Jane wrote: - quote - > The conversion is supposedly completed. | The conversion is supposedly completed. However it remains impossible to sign on the BOA web site to configure my existing Fleet account so that I can down automatically load a statement into MS. Money 2004. I have followed the Fleet/BOA instructions to the letter! It is possible to download a statement by manually logging into the BOA web site. Anyone know anything about this. -- |
