| Cal--thanks for responding. I'm familiar with that category because it's also available in my older version as well. Money 2003 allows me to use view "All Expenses" as a category so I can view it in the "Spending Area" along with those other categories that I want to monitor. It shows "All Expenses" as a thermometer along with the budgeted expenses on the home page. I also noticed that Money 2006 no longer has a module description called "Monthly Spending Progress." I guess you now call it "Spending Tracker." Still--should give user the ability to view "All Expenses" as a category instead of having to use the Income-Expense chart which takes too much screen space. That fact that Money 2006 users can only configure information on the home page in two columns make charts like the Income/Expense chart frustrating to view. Are you using the "Income and expenses" module on your Home page?> (Money 2006). | I'm compairing my current version of Money 2003 to the new trial version (Money 2006). The one thing I noticed is that is that I can't find the place that allows me to track "All Expenses" and show the thermometer on the home page. Seems I can only pick one expense category (i.e., Clothes, Bills, Food, etc.). My old version allows me to pick "All Expenses" (which includes all budget categories) as a category and show it as a thermometer on the home page under the "Monthly Spending Progress." Am I missing something here? Do I have to create a new category called "All Expenses" and select all the categories that I use? Any ideas? Thanks. |
