| Oh, I don't really expect a response. But it'd be nice if they read this and put it on their to-do list. I'm relegated to using web banking in the meantime, which sucks. Scott |

| ** BUMP ** Problem's still here. As a test, to try and narrow this down, I created a brand-new file and setup Online Services with my bank (First Hawaiian Bank). It would remember my password for that session, but as soon as I rebooted and tried to do an online update again, voila -- password forgotten. I've tried everything I can think of, to no avail. Money is convinced that my bank password needs to be changed each time. Unfortunately, it will only allow you to change the password once -- after that, it states "incorrect password" when you attempt to change it. My bank, predictably, says it's a MS Money problem. Developers, please help! | I'm experiencing this exact problem, but on Money 2006. It's maddening. It won't remember my bank password, but it remembers all other passwords. Whe n you go to Update, the bank password line is blank; attempting to add your password in there results in a message such as: "Your bank requires you to c hange your password BEFORE you update your information". I'm not trying to change my password. Hello. If you go to the account screen like it says, and change your password, you can usually get Money to remember your (new) password for a single session. Next session, it's forgotten again. Anyone have an idea on this? I'm disheartened if this has been a problem si nce Money '05. And this error is pretty much a dealbreaker for me using this program -- Scott "Yank" wrote: - quote - > When I go and update my bank account I can only update once before Money > 2005 asks me to change my password. | When I go and update my bank account I can only update once before Money 2005 asks me to change my password. For example, I update my account to get my most recent infromation then, I set up a few bills to pay. When I try and send the payment my password is no longer saved and has to be changed. I spoke with my Bank, Comerica, and they tell me it is a microsoft problem. I have only experienced this problem since updating to 2005 from 2003. Any ideas on how to correct this problem? Thanks, Yank |
