Another comment. Normally you need to accept the transactions into
the register. If you set
Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServices-> AutomaticallyAcceptAll... then that
changes things. I suggest deselecting that.

Also note that you can sort the register by order of entry, among
other ways. That can be useful for finding those transactions that
got inadvertently accepted.

Also note that File-> Restore can be used as an undo, if you have a
suitable backup file.

The newer versions have downloads integrate into the register. The
date and balance in the left pane are set by contents of the OFX. If
the OFX does not have the corresponding fields, those numbers do not
change.

One advantage of OFX is that each transaction has a unique ID which
Money remembers. If a later OFX downloads contains the same
transactions, Money will ignore the duplication.

I'm having the same problem. Old version of Money I downloaded ofc files.
Now if I do that ofc comes up all scrambled on the web page. If I do ofx, it
automatically integrates into the register (can't tell what's new or not) and
the date and balance of last bank check on left pane don't ever change. It's
driving me crazy. HELP!!

the program.

Money 2006 can take QIF and OFX.

There is a program that can convert OFC to OFX. See
http://www.mt2ofx.tk/ . You should probably try the QIF directly to
see if that works well for you. If conversions or using QIF do not
work well for you, returning to your previous version of Money might
work out better.

Money 2006 does not do OFC. Can your provider give you OFX?
