Unless you fudge the info I suppose. -Jeff |

Is there a way to show it per week so when it auto enteres the pay check it puts it in per week not per month. Kaine260 |

WeeklyAmount / DaysInWeek * DaysInYear / MonthsInYear. 7 365.25 12 500.85/7*365.25/12 = 2177.80 |

| Multiplying your weekly paycheck by four doesn't give you a monthly income, because there aren't exactly four weeks per month. What you need to do is multiply $500.85 by 52 weeks, and divide by 12 months. A shortcut to the same thing is to just multiply by 4.33. I couldn't get your weekly check to come out to $2177, but any minor variation in your pay, such as a raise, vacation pay, or a non-wage transaction categorized as income, could contribute the extra $7 or so. If you are upset by averaging weekly pay to come up with a monthly amount, just wait until the Budget gets ahold of your power bill! Normalizing expenses and income over time is NOT something that Money does particularly well. | Ok I just got Money 2006 but I noticed the same problem in 2005. The problem is when I put in my weekly income ( get paid on a weekly basis ) it tells me that I make more then what I actually do. Ut says totoal monthly income is 2,177.80 when I only make 500.85 a week. Now I know 500.85 x 4 is not 2177.80 it is something different. So how can I fix it so it shows the right amount. Thanks Zack Paige |
